Broken Dreams
In ages long past,
In futures yet to come,
Forever are we seeking,
For the reason we are here.
Time goes by quickly,
The hours flying by,
Each minute we grow older,
Each second our lives are shorter.
In life we seek in vain,
In death the truth is clear,
The life we lived was wasted,
That what we sought was just a dream.

This is in actuality about living life and enjoying it, rather than dwelling on it. Came out kind of dark though.
